Going Gray

Going gray?  Given it much thought?  I have. It's the current neutral in the design kingdom. I'm not afraid of it... Actually I'm embracing it. As summer ends and fall begins to move in it's a great time to start thinking about holiday visitors and preparing a guest room. Before you know it friends and family will be trekking to your house and that lonely guest room probably needs some sprucing up.  Pull out all the stops this year with paint and fabric. What's Inspiring Me

What's inspiring me?... keeping it green, especially when it comes to reclaimed wood.  If post on the beauty and eco- benefits before. Reclaimed species can be more durable and the patina of these centuries old logs and boards add depth to the design aesthetic. Due to disease and blight there are species such as Chestnut that are lost and are found by the reclaiming process.

Reclaimed wood can also be stained... and the ligh natural log makes a unique coffee table
